Powerstories Theatre proudly announces “Red Lips, Loud Voices,” an empowerment campaign celebrating women’s resilience, activism, and storytelling. Inspired by the historical power of red lipstick as a symbol of defiance and strength, this initiative invites women everywhere to wear their red lipstick proudly while sharing their voices.
Theatre amplifies women’s voices. Red lips make them impossible to ignore.
Launched with Powerstories’ Voices of Women Theatre Festival and Speaking for Our liveS, the campaign unites theatre and activism to amplify the voices of women who refuse to be silenced.
“Throughout history, red lipstick has been worn as an act of rebellion by women who refused to conform. With ‘Red Lips, Loud Voices,’ we’re reclaiming that power, making it a symbol of storytelling and resistance.” – Fran Powers, Powerstories founder
