The Wash moved me. I cried for Ana and the tough decisions and sacrifices all the washer women faced. The depiction of their forgiving spirits and community reminded to never judge what people are able to bring to the table. I am SO grateful to these brave and intelligent women. I know the impact they created has had immeasurable benefit in the lives of all to follow (myself included). I admire them and aspire to be brave and stand up too. Thank you sharing these wonderful stories full inspiration! I can't wait to see what's next and the conversations that will be shared. The performers are amazing, I have had the privilege of seeing them perform in other roles in other plays and they never fail to help me feel immersed in the story.

"The Wash" is a must- see--a powerful production that brings to life a history - shaing event driven by Black women. The all - star female cast was superb, and their compelling chemistry created a truly immersive experience. During the church scene, I felt like a part of the congregation. This play belongs on Broadway in New York. See it before it closes.

If you like good theatre do not miss THE WASH at The Studio @620. We love theatre, NYC and other venues and are amazed at the quality of local St. Pete theatre. Especially this group. Get to see this before it is gone!

The "Wash" production at Studio@620 was a heartfelt journey into the 1881 lives of very ordinary but very brave laundry workers. The actresses are so professional that you feel as if you have entered another historical time and you are hearing the real women who stood up to a society that did not respect their labor. The set design was a work of art. The Director, Erica Sutherlin, brilliantly staged the production and every action the characters used brought depth to their stories.

A great story portrayed and shared by awesome actors! I enjoyed the production and would hope more people get out to see this play and learn more about this country's complicated history. Acknowledging the strength of these woman who righted a wrong and started the first movement for labor unions is awesome!

Excellent production. Acting was fabulous. I think we need to start a campaign to get them some microphone coverage. Other than that top notch. Design, lighting all wonderful. And best of all s terrific history lesson that we never get.
